The Milky Bay Resort is peacefully located directly on the beach of BanTai on Koh Phangan. Our resort is owned and managed by a western couple who pay attention to every detail in an effort to make your stay even more enjoyable than you had hoped for.
The resort is surrounded by lush vegetation inside perfectly maintained tropical gardens. Grass patches and small ponds with lotus flowers are spread throughout giving the resort its special natural and relaxed atmosphere. Small shaded areas, with thatched rooftops furnished with Thai style cushions, are located throughout the gardens and are great spots for a couple or a small group to sit together, have a snack, read a book, chill-out and enjoy the breeze. All pathways are covered with soft wood-shavings, which give the resort a special rural character, and make it comfortable to walk barefooted around the resort.
At Milky Bay all bungalows are equipped to meet the highest of standards. All bungalows are air-conditioned and have western bathrooms with hot and cold water showers. The room decor is a blend of modern sophistication with local Thai and traditional African decorative elements and furnishings. Each room has a spacious balcony with sea or garden views. The bungalows are surrounded by lush vegetation which help ensure privacy and provide the necessary serenity inside your own little tropical kingdom.
Our Sauna is the perfect place for you to release any stress or pressure and offers relaxation and rejuvenation with no extra cost. A variety of massage types (Thai, Swedish, foot, head, among other) and beauty treatments are available at the spacious massage sala, and are a great way to further relax and recharge your body.
Our unique half-shaded swimming pool located right next to the beach, give you the choice between improving your tan or chilling out in the cool shade, while watching the ever-changing colors of the ocean. It is also ideal for smaller children as they can play in the pool without much concern for sun burns.
But that is not all that Milky Bay has to offer. Our fully equipped beach bar is a great place to hang out and enjoy a cold drink while playing a few rounds of pool at one of the available tables. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and serves a variety of western and Thai dishes. The specialty is Italian food and fresh seafood, prepared Thai or western style.

Milky Bays is located on Koh Phangan at Ban Tai beach makes it is easy to travel to all parts of the island. Haad Rin, the location of the monthly full moon party, is a mere 15 minutes drive away, as is the main town of Thong Sala, which is the main residence of most of the island's local Thai people.

The created bungalow close the beach is decorative furnished. The tiled bungalow has a Minibar, a airconditioning, hot water shower. Internet for e-mails and surfing is available at the resort. Vehicles such as motorcycles or jeeps can be hired locally. The pool is clean and provides the appropriate cooling. Volleyball on the beach at leisure.
